La Semaine Mondiale pour l’Accouchement Respecté (SMAR) est l’occasion d’exprimer un engagement commun à travers une mobilisation internationale en faveur du respect de la naissance. Elle a lieu chaque année, au mois de mai. Chaque Semaine mondiale met l’accent sur un thème spécifique. Des objectifs et des idées concrètes d’actions sont proposés. Suivant leurs compétences ou leur désir, des personnes ou des associations travaillent à mettre en valeur les actions à partir du matériel préparé collectivement et mis à disposition sur le site Internet : posters, dossiers, tracts etc. À plus ou moins grande échelle, selon ce que chacun peut investir en temps et énergie, de nombreuses déclinaisons sont possibles : expositions, réunions, conférences…
La SMAR a été créée en 2004 à l’initiative de l’Alliance française pour l’accouchement respecté (AFAR), une association française indépendante de toute école ou doctrine médicale, religieuse ou politique. À partir de 2011 la coordination est assurée par le Réseau européen des associations de naissance (ENCA).
The International Week for Respecting Childbirth is an opportunity to raise international voices on a specific topic related with the promotion of gentle birth. The IWRC takes place every year during the month of May. Depending on the theme, objectives and ideas for action are proposed. Individuals or groups may then work out the concrete steps taking advantage of material that has been collectively prepared and made available on the website: posters, folders, leaflets etc. Depending on people/group’s time and degree of involvement, many events can be organised at a more or less large scale: exhibitions, meetings, conferences...
The IWRC was initiated in 2004 by Alliance française pour l’accouchement respecté (AFAR), a French non-profit society entirely free from philosophical, medical, religious and political lines of thinking. Since 2011 its coordination has been handed over to the European Network of Childbirth Associations (ENCA).
Die Weltwoche der respektierten Geburt ist eine Möglichkeit, gemeinsames Engagement zu speziellen Themen rund um die natürliche Geburt auf internationaler Ebene auszudrücken. Sie findet jedes Jahr im Monat Mai statt und hat immer einen anderen Schwerpunkt. Ziele und Ideen für Aktionen werden vorgeschlagen. Je nach Kompetenz und Wunsch der Einzelpersonen oder Gruppen können dann konkrete Schritte ausgearbeitet werden, indem sie das gemeinsam aufbereitete und auf der Webseite zur Verfügung gestellte Material verwenden: Poster, Folder, Broschüren, etc. Abhängig von der Zeit und des persönlichen Einsatzes des Einzelnen oder der Gruppe können viele Dinge in einem kleinen oder größeren Rahmen organisiert werden: Ausstellungen, Treffen, Konferenzen,…
Initiiert wurde die Weltwoche der respektierten Geburt in 2004 von der Alliance Francophone pour l´Accouchement Respecté (AFAR), einer Non-Profit-Organisation, losgelöst von jeglichen Dogmen oder Theorien. AFAR ist philosophisch, medizinisch, religiös und politisch gänzlich ungebunden und unabhängig.
La Semana Mundial del Parto Respetado, una es una oportunidad para conocer las opiniones internacionales sobre un asunto específico relacionado con la promoción de un parto respetado. La SMAR tiene lugar cada año durante el mes de mayo. Se proponen objetivos e ideas para realizar según un lema común. Luego individuos o grupos pueden debatir los pasos específicos para aprovecharse del material que se haya preparado en conjunto y que está disponible en la página web: pósters, carpetas, folletos, etc. Pueden organizarse muchos eventos a más o menos gran escala, según el tiempo y grado de implicación de la gente o de los grupos: exposiciones, reuniones, conferencias...
La SMAR es una iniciativa de AFAR (Alliance Francophone pour l'Accouchement Respecté), una organización francesa no lucrativa fundada en 2003. Siendo un órgano autónomo de ciudadanos, no defiende ningún dogma o teoría ni tampoco muestra inclinación filosófica, médica, religiosa o política. Desde 2011 su coordinación ha sido entregado a la European Network of Childbirth Associations (ENCA).
